Beyond Productions ( Australia ) on location at Kawah Ijen ( East Java ) shown filming National Geographic's TABOO.
The crew experienced first hand the life of a sulfur miner working under the hazardous conditions of Ljen Crater, although, unlike the men who actually work the mines the crew donned gas masks and goggles in order to deal with the extreme heat and toxic fumes.
TABOO explores different customs and cultural practices around the world showing what some might consider taboo is a way of life for others.
