In partnership with the Ubud Writers & Readers Festival, and
sponsored by the US Embassy (Jakarta, Indonesia) and Lion Air, the
workshop introduced
45 future film-makers to the art and process of writing for film.
Conducted by Salman Aristo, the one-day inter-active program gave
middle and high school students a chance to work alongside an
award-winning Indonesian Scriptwriter and Producer.
“There is a great deal of gratification when working with students.
Hopefully, I can increase their awareness of how films are created
and encourage a new generation of Indonesian scriptwriters,” said
Salman Aristo.
