Hosted by Pamela Stephenson aboard the sailing yacht ‘Takapuna’ and produced by Long Way Round Productions (UK), Pamela retraces the ocean adventures of her great-great grandfather Samuel Stephenson – aka Salty Sam – a portly, entrepreneurial British Master Mariner who set off from England aboard his trading ship, the Rosalie, in 1821 but was never to return.

Murder, mutiny, treasure and mystery all come to life as this exciting six part one-hour television series takes us on a voyage along the old Spice Route journeying through Indonesia, India, Malaysia and China
Currently filming in Indonesia, the episode highlights the rich culture and history of Indonesia – the largest Archipelago in the world – the country’s people and unique traditions.
