The 4th Annual Balinale International Film Festival held in Bali 12-17 October featured 30 films from 12 countries. The festival™s Opening Nights in Jakarta and Bali were standing room only for the premiere of Sony Pictures Eat Pray Love starring Julia Roberts and Javier Bardem. A third of the film was shot in Bali.
Other acclaimed films featured in the program included; Poetry, The Social Network, Animal Kingdom, Bran Nue Dae, Exit Through The Gift Shop, Babies, Sang Pemimpi, and Ocean Heaven.
Some of the award-winning Filmmakers who participated in the Festival™s Workshops and Panel Discussions were; David Michôd, Donna Smith, Jan Chapman, Rachel Perkins, Robby Ertanto, Le Chang-Dong, and Anthony Anderson.
