Savages – Oliver Stone (USA)
Oliver Stone’s adaptation of Don Winslow’s break-through novel Savages exposes the dark side of the LA drug scene run by a Mexican drug cartel and the home-grown pot dealers who get in too deep.
The shooting took place over six days on the island of Moyo, Nusa Tenggara Barat (Eastern Indonesia) with lead actors Taylor Kitsch (Chon), Aaron Johnson (Ben), and Blake Lively (O) with Savages Paradise Unit Crew.
The film received the endorsement of the National and Provincial NTB government.
BFC provided local production support and casting.
