In partnership with the Ubud Writers & Readers Festival, sponsored by the US Embassy (Jakarta, Indonesia) and Lion Air, the workshop introduced 45 future filmmakers to the art and process of writing for film.
Conducted by Salman Aristo, the one-day interactive program gave middle and high school students a chance to work alongside an award-winning Indonesian Scriptwriter and Producer.
There is a great deal of gratification when working with students. Hopefully, I can increase their awareness of how films are created and encourage a new generation of Indonesian scriptwriters said Salman Aristo.
